Administrative Support
 
Official travel
The Organization pays members of the personnel the expenses related to official travel. The Department or Group Secretariat should be contacted to handle the necessary arrangements.
Financial and Accounting Services
The Financial and Accounting Services handle all operations concerning accounting, commitments, payment of invoices, payroll and the recording of the Organisation's assets and liabilities.
These Services are also responsible for the treasury, cash management and all related operations, for the handling of all invoices received by the Organization including checking/control, relations with users and external suppliers.

Financial matters related to personnel
The Personnel Accounting Section is responsible for the recording, classification and presentation of accounting transactions concerning CERN personnel expenditure.
The Section is in charge of the payroll for Staff, Fellows and Associates, the follow-up and payments of claims and advances, provision of certificates, tax reimbursement and other personnel related tasks.

Financial matters related to Teams
The Financial Services for Visiting Researchers and Collaborations objective is to facilitate the financial administration of research collaborations and visiting researches and their institutes during their stay at CERN.

Legal assistance
The Legal Service may provide assistance to those who encounter legal problems during their stay at CERN and advise appropriate experts in Switzerland or in France.
Conferences
Agenda Maker and Conference Recordings Indico allows to create online agendas for CERN meetings or conferences, and associate electronic documents.

CERN Document Server
CERN Document Server : Bibliographic records of interest to people working in particle physics and related areas. Covers preprints, articles, books, journals, photographs, and much more.
Scientific Text Processing
The team provides support for CERN Reports approved by the CERN Reports Editorial Board (CREB).
Printing documents
The CERN Printshop is located on the ground floor of the Bldg. 510 R-007 (next to the Mail Office).
The reception is open from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. You can also contact the service by email and phone: 72426.

Translation and Minutes Service
The Translation and Minutes Service provides translations of official CERN documents between French and English and certain other European languages.
Photo service
CERN's Photo Service is responsible for photographic coverage of major CERN activities. The photo archive is available on the Web.
Administrative Applications
Get a list of available applications and find out which ones are offered for each business area with the AIS Business map. For problems encountered on AIS applications you can send a mail to ais.support@cern.ch or to Helpdesk@cern.ch.
Purchase of equipment
The Procurement and Industrial Services group is responsible for the procurement of all goods and services for the Organisation.

The Logistics Services have two main activities : Materials Management/Stores and Shipping/Distribution.
