| Employed members of the personnel (MPE) |

| Staff members (Ts) |
shall be appointed to a post of the Organization and may be offered the opportunity to make a career within it |

|
| Fellows (Fb) |
shall be graduates with a higher education degree appointed to perform functions within the Organization and shall thus continue their training |
| |
|
| Apprentices (Ap) |
shall be appointed by the Organization to acquire a
professional qualification in accordance with local legislation and
practice |
| |
Associated members of the personnel (MPA) |
| |

| Associates (At) |
shall be invited on an individual basis by the Organization to
take part in its activities subject to the agreement of their home
institution |
| |
|
| Users (Us) |
shall be sent by their home institution in order to take part in the
Organization's activities |
| |
|
| Students (St) |
shall be selected and invited on an individual basis by the
Organization to further their training subject to the agreement of their
home institution |
