Payment of remuneration
Paid members of the personnel holding a contract of three months or more are paid from the payroll. Payments to other categories of the personnel are made on the basis of a claim completed in EDH.
In some cases, advances, payments or reimbursements may be granted:
Handling of bank account details
Members of the personnel who are paid by the Organization and hold a contract of 3 months or more are paid from the payroll. Payments are made in Swiss francs onto an account held with a bank in Switzerland or France, either on the CERN site or elsewhere.
For the categories of personnel who are not paid from the payroll, salaries are paid via an EDH claim, either onto the bank account of the person concerned or in cash.
Users may open a bank account with CERN UBS, the on site Post Office or the on site Crédit Agricole.
The Users’ Office issues the necessary form.
To open an account with another bank in Switzerland or France Users should contact the bank directly.
