| CERN Staff Association |
The Staff Association defends the interests of staff members and their families and promotes good relations among people working on the CERN site.
They organize artistic exhibitions (paintings, sculptures, photographs, pottery, etc.), as well as evening conferences on various subjects.
News are published in the Staff Association Bulletin.
Staff Association Clubs
The Staff Association oversees many clubs like astronomy, basketball, cricket, folklore, ski ... The complete list is available on the Web. Special news and information are published in the Weekly Bulletin. |
| Women's Club |
| The CERN Women's Club offers 70 hours of courses weekly: sports, languages, arts, handicrafts, as well as meetings and excursions. Further info is available on the Web Site. Special news and activities are published in the Women's Club Newsletter and in the CERN Weekly Bulletin. |
| The Nursery School |
The School provides two facilities:
The Nursery School
For children between the ages of 2½ and 6. Children are welcome from Monday to Friday, also during lunch breaks (reservation and payment required from 12:30 to 13:30).
The Day Nursery
For children aged between 2 and 6 years on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

| The social affairs team consists of 2 social workers and is available to help all members of personnel of the Organisation as well as their family members in the following areas : |

Information on education, child-minding facilities, health-related matter, residence and work permits in the host-states, etc. |

Consultations with a view to resolving problems of a personal, family or professional nature, such as problems of dependency (alcohol, drugs, relationship) or behavioral problems (stress, depression, eating disorders). |

Support in facing new situations (maternity, divorce, bereavement, change of post, geographical isolation) and assistance in decision making (life choices) |

Assistance in dealings with the authorities/services concerned. |

| The purpose of Cern Market is to allow the CERN population to buy and sell personal objects, anything ranging from a house to a car to a set of snow chains. |

| The International Geneva Welcome Centre |
The International Geneva Welcome Centre was launched in 1996 to guide, inform, and help integrate the approximately 40’000-strong community (including families) of international civil servants, members of diplomatic representations, consulates, and non governmental organisations, working and living in the Geneva region.
